Job description

Key Accountabilities/Outcomes

Attend to reports of breakdowns and equipment failure on the premises or anywhere that may be required of you timeously.

Install new equipment and fixtures, removing the old equipment and dispose of according to Company rule and regulations.

To perform quarterly continuous improvement projects to improve the efficiency and performance of production equipment.

Reduce engineering downtime in the production areas through effective and applied maintenance processes.

Responsible for the completion and filing of job cards for all work done.

To maintain their designated area of responsibility within the standards set out as per plant engineering standards.

Comply within the OHS act requirements on all safety standards.

Assist in in the upgrade and pending projects in the plant.

Responsible to report identified problems with the food safety management system.

Designated associates shall have defined responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions.

Participate in all workshop activities related to 5S housekeeping.

Qualification/Skills/Experience

Qualified Red seal Millwright

Minimum 5 years' work experience

Experience in a manufacturing plant would be an advantage

Dairy plant experience would be an advantage.
