Key Responsibilities
- Apply strong traditional design principles (typography, layout, composition, hierarchy) across a range of formats including presentations, print, branding collateral, and campaign design.
- Design compelling visuals for social media (static posts, carousels, story content, reels/thumbnails, etc.).
- Translate strategic or verbal briefs into bold, clear, platform-appropriate design.
- Work collaboratively with copywriters, animators, and editors to bring ideas to life.
- Maintain and adapt design systems and brand guidelines across various clients.
- Stay up to date with platform design trends and cultural aesthetics, and proactively suggest new approaches or formats.
- Prepare files for handoff to motion designers or video editors when needed.
- Balance multiple projects and timelines without sacrificing quality.
What You Bring
- 4-6 years of experience in a design role, ideally in a fast-paced agency, studio or content production environment.
- Strong portfolio of work across social media, digital content, and brand design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; After Effects is a plus).
- Experience working with templates, brand kits, and responsive design systems.
- Attention to craft from typography and layout to colour and form.
- Understanding of how to design for motion (not necessarily animate, but design with movement in mind).
- Ability to receive and apply feedback, work collaboratively, and take initiative.
- Bonus: Familiarity with AI-powered design tools.
