Job summary

A leading staffing agency is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter located in Delmas. This role involves working during client shutdowns as needed, with potential shifts of one day per week. The ideal candidate must have a Grade 12 certificate, be mechanically qualified, and have at least 5 years of relevant experience in hydraulics and pneumatics within the food manufacturing sector. Candidates must be immediately available to start and comply with safety regulations including having a clear criminal record and using PPE.

Qualifications

• No less than 5 years' experience in mechanical fitting, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical fitting tasks as needed during client shutdowns.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and use of PPE.
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on machinery.
