Are you a strategic, hands‑on digital marketer with leadership experience? We’re looking for a Marketing Team Lead to support the ownership of our digital marketing output, lead content and campaign delivery, and support the growth of our brand and client marketing activities.
This role combines digital marketing expertise, creative execution, and team leadership. You’ll work closely with Abi, our Head of Marketing, overseeing content calendars, social media, podcasts, and digital campaigns, while guiding and supporting the marketing activity and client delivery. You’ll play a key role in ensuring marketing assets, campaigns, and platforms are executed consistently, strategically, and to a high standard and oversee the day to day management of the Marketing team.
What you’ll do:
- Support the Head of Marketing (Abi) in the planning, development, and execution of overall marketing strategies, with a strong focus on lead generation for both James White and client accounts
- Help shape and support lead generation activity across digital channels, including social media, email marketing, podcasts, and paid advertising
- Assist with the planning, setup, and optimisation of PPC and paid social campaigns, including Google Ads and Meta Ads, supporting performance tracking and reporting.
- Play a key role in leading the marketing function day‑to‑day, overseeing workload, priorities, and delivery across the marketing team with close support from the Head of Marketing.
- Support, create, and oversee social media content and campaigns, ensuring alignment with lead generation goals and wider marketing plans
- Oversee and support the growth of the podcast and associated channels, including Instagram, with a focus on driving awareness, engagement, and inbound leads
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate podcast and YouTube content calendars, ensuring content supports broader marketing and lead generation objectives
- Lead and support social media content creation for James White and client accounts.
- Build, schedule, and manage email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, nurture sequences, and lead funnels
- Support the integration of email marketing with paid and organic campaigns to maximise conversion opportunities
- Provide guidance, feedback, and day‑to‑day support to marketing team members, ensuring quality, consistency, and deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in digital marketing, with exposure to social media, content, and paid advertising
- At least 2 years experience leading projects or mentoring others within a marketing function
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, email marketing, and digital campaign execution
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and confident, managing multiple priorities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimise performance
- Creative, proactive, and confident, taking ownership of marketing initiatives
