Trauma Marketing Specialist – South Africa

Responsibilities
  • Profitable marketing of all Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics Trauma and Clinical Therapies products.
  • Attainment of short‑term sales and profit targets agreed with management.
  • Devising and implementing marketing strategies that secure short, medium and long‑term profitability of the portfolio.
Qualifications
  • Establish and nurture the relationship between Key Contacts and Smith & Nephew and commercialise these relationships.
  • Experience in establishing ongoing educational programmes on the Orthopaedic Trauma product portfolio and coordinating these programmes through academic and non‑academic outlets throughout the country.
  • Experience in the formulation and implementation of short, medium and long‑term strategic plans for brands.
  • The ability to keep abreast of local and international developments and trends in the marketplace.
  • Experience in compiling, presenting, and managing annual sales budgets.
  • Good customer relations and providing support to the sales force.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare and marketing.
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry.
