The opportunity

Due to business growth and an exciting new partnership, we are seeking a permanent full-time Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our team.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will support the growing team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating marketing projects, and overseeing event planning and execution. This role is key in ensuring smooth workflow within the marketing department and the successful delivery of marketing initiatives and events, maintaining brand consistency and operational efficiency.

This role is based in our Newcastle office with flexibility for hybrid working arrangements and parking provided.

In this role you will

  • Assist the Head of Marketing and Marketing Manager with various administrative tasks to support daily operations.
  • Manage version control of all marketing assets, including creative files, media plans, presentations, and related documents.
  • Prepare and manage the brand's Events Calendar, keeping all stakeholders informed of upcoming activities.
  • Plan, organise, and manage events and conferences that the company chooses to implement or attend, including the location.
  • Coordinate logistics, vendor relationships, registrations, and on-site support for events to ensure successful execution.
  • Collaborate with partners to co-create new event opportunities and leverage existing events as part of their events calendar.

What you will bring

  • A suitable qualification in Marketing, Business Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in marketing coordination, project management, or events coordination preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with multiple teams and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality control.
