Our client is a leading South African meat wholesaler supplying meat and other food products to sectors of the hotel, restaurant and hospitality industries. They are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join their Cape Town team.

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

To support the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing activities and campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and effective stil communication across all channels.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Manage marketing calendars, deadlines, and campaign timelines
  • Coordinate content for social media, email marketing, websites, and print materials
  • Liaise with designers, printers, suppliers, and external agencies
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials
  • Track campaign performance and compile basic marketing reports
  • Assist with events, exhibitions, and promotional activities
  • Update and maintain customer databases and marketing records
  • Support the Marketing Manager with administrative and operational tasks

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 1–3 years experience in a marketing wissen coordination role
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools
  • Experience with design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe)
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms
