A vacancy exists at Steyn City School for

Marketing and Brand Manager,

effective 1 December 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and strategic individual who can manage internal and external marketing and brand strategies, develop compelling content, build and maintain interest in the school as the first school of choice in Gauteng as well as within the Steyn City Parkland Residence.

Responsibilities Include:

Marketing and Brand Management

  • Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of internal and external marketing and brand strategies.
  • Manage and protect the school’s brand identity across all platforms and communication channels (including but not limited to communications, apparel, uniform, publications, advertising, and the like).
  • Manage the school website.
  • Manage branded items for the school
  • School signage
  • Budget management
  • Manage marketing events

Social Media

  • Develop, implement and manage a social media strategy to increase engagement, reach, and enrolment inquiries across all relevant platforms.
  • Track analytics and report on key performance metrics monthly
  • Have a clear understanding of marketing and brand management within a school.
  • Demonstrate strong skills in social media management and content creation (graphic design, video editing is a plus).
  • Be proficient in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, In-Design, Photoshop, etc.), Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Meltwater, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, etc.
  • Be proactive, and be able to conduct with tact and diplomacy, as well as manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Have an ability to work under pressure
  • Have a clear understanding of the strategic and critical relationship between all aspects of the Marketing Department (admissions, marketing, communications, events, and alumni) as well as have an enthusiastic and welcoming approach to marketing the school both internally and externally
  • Be a creative thinker with an eye for design and detail
  • Be a highly effective communicator (verbally and written)
  • Be a self-motivated individual interested in working in a highly competitive environment
  • Have sound computer skills, particularly in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Forms
  • Ability to work overtime as and when required
  • Be willing to work within the values, ethos, and mission of the School as well as participate in the broader life of the school

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matriculation (NQF4)
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a marketing, brand, and social media role.
  • Computer skills, particularly in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Forms
  • Proficient in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, In-Design, Photoshop, etc.), Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Meltwater, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, etc.
