Job Specification

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the incumbent will co-ordinate, motivate and supervise the operational activities of the Swartland Fuel Distribution Centre located in Moorreesburg. The incumbent will be responsible for the overall management of the Fuel Distribution Centre operations, including customer service, the management of a 3PL road tanker operator, route scheduling, fuel storage and handling operations, HAZOP, SHEQ and establishing and maintaining fuel storage and dispensing equipment at customers' premises.

Minimum Requirements
  • National Diploma (preferably in Logistics)
  • 3 years related experience
  • Experience of fuel storage and handling operations and fuel road tanker fleet management would be an advantage
  • Computer literacy
  • Valid code EB license
  • The incumbent will be required to work irregular hours related to dynamic fuel supply and demand conditions
