Job Summary

This position is responsible for shaping and executing customer strategies that align with the group’s credit objectives. The role spans the entire credit lifecycle, including defining risk appetite, optimizing pricing and capital, managing portfolios, and driving effective collections strategies. It ensures credit-related initiatives support sustainable growth and profitability while maintaining compliance and risk standards.

Job Description
Credit Strategy Development
  • Formulate and implement customer-level credit strategies that align with group objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Champion customer-centric credit decisioning to enhance engagement and drive sustainable profitability.
Risk Appetite & Governance
  • Define and monitor credit risk appetite across portfolios, ensuring adherence to governance frameworks.
  • Support stress testing and integrated planning to contextualize credit outlook.
Pricing & Capital Optimization
  • Develop risk-based pricing models to balance profitability and customer value.
  • Optimize capital allocation and utilization within regulatory and economic constraints.
Portfolio Management
  • Oversee portfolio shape, emerging risks, and concentration management.
  • Ensure consistent risk and performance measurement across business segments.
Collections & Recovery Strategy
  • Design and implement effective collections strategies to minimize credit losses.
  • Collaborate with recovery teams to enhance debt management processes.
Data & Insights
  • Leverage predictive modeling and analytics for proactive credit decisioning.
  • Drive visualization and dashboard development for performance tracking.
Team Management
  • Lead, develop, and inspire team members to achieve high performance and support their career growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
