Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of engineers overseeing mechanical, electrical, industrial, environmental and safety systems operations.
  • Create and strategically apply the annual capital budget to address equipment maintenance and facility improvements.
  • Manage cost, schedule performance and safety pertaining to engineering staff and capital project execution.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Management team to develop standards, train personnel and incorporate innovations to increase factory efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Oversee external contractors to ensure compliance with all company standards including safety, quality and value of deliverables.
  • Partner with operations leaders to identify areas of opportunity to improve integrated manufacturing processes.
  • Champion Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) through management, problem solving and project implementation.
  • Master plant process flows, utility flows, capacities, practices and procedures to ensure factory energy efficiency, environmental prioritization and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Government Certificate of Competency (GCC).
  • Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5 or 6 years of relevant experience within the manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Trade or NTC.
  • Three or more years of managerial experience.
  • Computer skills.
  • Business Planning.
