MAINTENANCE LEAD

Responsibilities

  • Supervision and Leadership: Leading and guiding the maintenance team, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively
  • Task Management: Assigning, prioritising, and monitoring maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion
  • Equipment and Facility Maintenance: Overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment, buildings, and other facilities, ensuring they are in optimal working condition
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensuring all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with safety regulations and procedures
  • Inventory Management: Managing and maintaining an inventory of necessary parts and supplies, ensuring timely reordering
  • Budget Management: Tracking expenses vs the maintenance budget
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving complex maintenance issues
  • Other duties: In conjunction with the Procurement and Operations Manager, be available out of hours on the phone and, as necessary, to attend to premises-related call-outs, giving advice, arranging attendance by others, and so on to ensure the smooth operation of the School
