Job summary

Job description

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Assistant / Operator to join the Coega, Port Elizabeth team,

• Maintenance of allocated machine on the production line,
• Operate allocated machine on the production line,
• Assist in routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Conduct regular checks on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Assist in identifying and reporting potential safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or necessary repairs.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• N3 – N4 in Mechanical or Electrical preferred,
• At least 1 step below level of School Qualifications and an equivalent qualification is acceptable,
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge required
• Valid drivers license and own transport,
• Candidate must reside in the Port Elizabeth / Uitenhage area
