Leisure Sales Manager, Cape Town, R40 Basic + excellent commission structure and benefits.

The ideal candidate will currently be in a similar role or possess a strong background in the hotel sales leisure market, with proven experience in sales and commercial strategy. This role is pivotal in driving leisure business across our Cape Town and South African properties and identifying opportunities within our East Africa portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute leisure sales strategies to drive revenue across the cluster of hotels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key leisure travel partners, tour operators, and DMCs.
  • The focus of this role is to actively cross-sell all three Cape Town hotels, as well as sister properties across South Africa, while also identifying and exploring potential opportunities for integration with East Africa hotels.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
  • Represent the hotel cluster at trade shows, sales missions, and networking events.
  • Collaborate with marketing and revenue teams to align sales efforts with commercial goals.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Manage client accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Travel as required for business development and relationship management.
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel leisure sales or a similar commercial role.
  • Strong understanding of the leisure travel market, particularly within Southern Africa.
  • Self-starter with excellent work ethic, high energy, and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
