Job summary

A non-profit health organization in South Africa is seeking a candidate with technical support skills in asset and finance management. Purpose of the position:

To provide technical support, expert knowledge, insights, and performance reports on asset, finance and supply chain management related to the HAST programme.

Minimum Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in public sector finance and/or supply chain management
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in public sector finance and supply chain information systems management and training, ideally in a Health Sector environment
  • Local knowledge and experience of Eastern Cape context is advantageous
  • Very good knowledge of relevant legislation (POPIA)
  • Clear criminal record
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Source System Advisory: Provide guidance on existing government infrastructure, databases, and integration points to accelerate data discovery
  • Data Structure Analysis: Assist the Project Team Lead in interpreting historical data structures, schemas, and undocumented system logic
  • Integration Strategy: Advise on safe and effective methods for extracting data from current operational systems
