Job Description:
- Manage the portfolio of properties assigned with a view to maximising the occupancy of lettable area within the portfolio and creating new business opportunities for the development of land holdings.
- Introduce new tenants to the portfolio through various methods including, but not limited to, cold calling, networking as well as nurturing and strengthening long-term relationships with key contacts.
- Improve the portfolio lease profile, with a view to increasing term of same and quality of tenants.
- Utilise the MDA property management system for recording prospective tenants and creating a database of leads for future business.
- Preparation of weekly leasing status report and others, as and when required.
- Involvement in the preparation of annual budgets, through the sign-off of market rentals and vacancy forecasts.
- Maintain a good understanding of the market conditions and trends of commercial property in the country.
- Provide a weekly and monthly report to the COO of activities.
- Any other ad hoc duties as may be required.
Qualifications
- National Senior Certificate with a valid Tertiary Qualification
- Experience in a similar role
- Ability to demonstrate commitment and loyalty and perform all duties in accordance with the organisation’s office routines and procedures, keeping in mind the overall business objectives.
