Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity for a new part-time Learning Support Assistant to join a flourishing boarding and day school, set on an attractive -acre campus in a beautiful part of rural Surrey.
The successful applicant will work as part of the Learning Support Team in supporting pupils in mainstream classes and providing 1:1 support, particularly for those on the SEND Register and pupils who would benefit from catch‑up literacy and numeracy.
They will work closely with the SENDCO and the team to support a broad spectrum of subjects to a number of pupils in the Senior School and ensure that all pupils are supported according to their needs.
King Edward's School is a co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged *****, with around pupils, of whom about 30 % are full boarders.
The school is a member of the HMC and prides itself on its heritage and standing among British independent schools.
