Lead Medical Receptionist Permanent Full - Time

Specialist Eye Surgeons SA is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist with a long term interest in working with our team on a permanent basis. This role will be based in our Dulwich, SA 5065 office, providing an exceptional patient experience while supporting the efficient operations of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling and managing patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and cancellations

Handling patient inquiries and providing information about our services, policies, and procedures

Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring the confidentiality of medical information

Coordinating with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care

Demonstrating a strong commitment to customer service and a positive, solution-oriented attitude

End of Day Procedures

Preparing Theatre List for Dr Karagiannis' for the Burnside War Memorial Hospital and the Riverland General Hospital -training will be provided

Preparing Intravitreal Injection Orders for Dulwich, Mildura and Riverland Clinics- training will be provided

What we're looking for

Experience in a similar medical receptionist or administrative role will be looked upon favourably.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians, and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise and manage a busy schedule

Proficient in using medical practice management software and general office technology

Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records

A friendly, approachable, and customer-service-oriented attitude. A smile and positive attitude goes a long way

Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry practices would be highly advantageous

Hours

Available to work fulltime. Office Hours are 8am till 5pm.
