Job summary

A leading mining company is seeking a Foreman Instrumentation to oversee control and instrumentation maintenance activities at their Burgersfort location. The role requires a strong leader with an N4/S2 engineering qualification and at least 4 years of experience in instrumentation. Key responsibilities include mentoring junior technicians, prioritizing maintenance tasks, and maintaining relationships with production personnel. Applicants must be computer literate and medically fit for underground work. Preference will be given to designated group candidates according to the Employment Equity Act.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience as an Instrument Mechanician / Technician.
• Computer literate (MS Office Package) is essential.
• Must be medically fit for underground workings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team through recruitment, coaching, and development.
• Direct Mechanicians according to emergency priorities.
• Report to Senior Instrumentation Technician on activities.
