As the People Learning Enablement Manager, you will own and drive enterprise-wide learning and capability development across a fast-paced, highly regulated fintech environment. This role blends strategy, execution, governance, and leadership, ensuring our people are equipped with the skills, compliance knowledge, leadership capability, and digital fluency required to deliver sustainable growth.

Your Mission
To enable enterprise capability through structured, scalable, and compliant learning solutions that support innovation, regulatory adherence, leadership effectiveness, and future‑ready skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
Learning Strategy & Enterprise Enablement
- Own and execute the Learning Enablement strategy aligned to Mukuru’s People Strategy and business priorities.
- Translate strategic learning goals into measurable, executable operational plans.
- Lead learning transformation initiatives, including digital learning adoption and enterprise capability uplift.
Financial Stewardship & Commercial Acumen
- Manage the learning budget with strong focus on ROI, cost optimisation, and value realisation.
- Balance internal capability building with external providers to ensure scalability and sustainability.
- Evaluate and manage learning vendors to ensure quality, relevance, and commercial value.
Leadership & Team Enablement
- Lead and develop a geographically dispersed Learning Enablement team across territories.
- Set clear performance expectations, delivery rhythms, and accountability frameworks.
- Foster a culture of operational discipline, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Reporting, Analytics & Impact
- Deliver executive‑level dashboards and insights on learning effectiveness, compliance status, skills development, and ROI.
- Ensure accurate capturing of learning data across systems and platforms.
- Use analytics to inform prioritisation, decision‑making, and optimisation of learning investments.
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Influence
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on learning, skills development, and capability enablement.
- Partner closely with Risk, Compliance, Technology, Product, and Business leaders to deliver practical, business‑aligned learning solutions.
- Position Learning Enablement as a high‑impact, performance‑driven enterprise capability.
Skills Development & Regulatory Compliance
- Provide end‑to‑end oversight of the Skills Development portfolio, including WSPs, ATRs, grants, and SETA compliance.
- Ensure learning interventions support transformation objectives, talent pipelines, and future skills.
- Maintain audit‑ready learning governance, quality frameworks, and statutory compliance.
Learning Design, Digital Enablement & Innovation
- Provide strategic oversight of blended learning models (classroom, virtual, eLearning, on‑the‑job).
- Drive effective utilisation of the LMS and learning technologies.
- Enable digital‑first, scalable learning solutions while maintaining strong governance standards.
What You Bring
Qualifications
- National Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Learning & Development, OD‑ETDP, or equivalent.
- Management or leadership accreditation (essential).
- SDF accreditation and project management experience (advantageous).
Experience
- 8–10 years’ experience in Learning & Development.
- 5+ years in regulated or financial services environments.
- Proven experience leading Learning Enablement teams and enterprise learning execution.
- Strong exposure to digital learning, LMS platforms, and compliance learning.
