Job description

- Oversee the daily operations of the laundry department, including scheduling and delegating tasks to laundry staff.

- Ensure that all laundry services are delivered to the highest standards, in line with company policies and procedures.

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.

- Train and supervise laundry staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their performance meets company standards.

- Conduct regular inspections of laundry facilities and equipment to identify any maintenance or repair needs.

- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.

- Create and maintain laundry schedules for crew members, ensuring that all laundry is returned to them in a timely manner.

- Handle and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to laundry services.

- Keep accurate records of laundry services, including inventory, expenses, and revenue.

- Collaborate with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Food and Beverage, to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a laundry or housekeeping department.
