Three6five Digital Solutions are looking to add a Field Engineer to our team in KZN.

Confident on a personal and professional level, good communicator, willing to do any hardware related task at hand, quick learner and hard worker.

Neat, reliable and responsible with strong problem-solving ability, solution driven and committed to resolving any technical issue.

Attention to detail with a responsible and accountable approach to procedures and policies.

Technicians will be required to drive to and from clients, installing and maintaining systems with high levels of accuracy and efficiency.

They must be available to slot into the standby roster and work overtime where needed, update job management software correctly and timeously, and proactively communicate onsite findings for services and repairs.

Technicians will be the project lead, responsible for documentation and working with project managers to close off tasks.

Roles and responsibilities

• Running, terminating and testing general network cabling
• Racking of equipment and cable management
• Lead and train Level 1 engineers in terms of duties
• Installation and maintenance of routers on site at customers
• Excellent computer, networking skills with electronics understanding
• Excellent understanding of networking hardware
• Excellent background in IT concepts and support
• Ability to deliver documentation on the installs, maintenance in a timely manner

Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ and N+ or CCNA
• Between 2–4 years' experience in the IT field
• Valid driver's licence and own transport
