An exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior Process Engineer to join a dynamic operations team in Secunda, Mpumalanga. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will provide essential technical support to ensure optimum plant performance and availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of plant processes.
  • Support production targets by providing process technical expertise.
  • Monitor plant health and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead the onsite implementation of process changes.
  • Provide input into process-related aspects of projects, including commissioning of new installations.
  • Manage risks related to the protection of plant equipment.
  • Train and support operators to maintain high performance standards.
Minimum Requirements
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an engineering or related field (preferred).
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Experience in water treatment will be advantageous.
