The Junior Mechanical Engineer will support the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems and components.

The role involves assisting senior engineers in turning concepts into manufacturable, reliable, and safe equipment while ensuring that projects meet technical, quality, schedule, and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the mechanical design of equipment and systems using CAD tools.
  • Prepare technical drawings, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and engineering specifications.
  • Support project planning, including estimating component costs and lead times.
  • Work with procurement to source suitable materials, parts, and components.
  • Assist in prototyping, assembly, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  • Conduct basic mechanical analysis to ensure safety, durability, and performance.
  • Support maintenance and troubleshooting of existing equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure system integration.
  • Document work and report progress to senior engineers or managers.
