• Develop and manage relationships with international customers, importers, and retailers.
• Manage the full sales process: pricing, contract negotiation, order placement, documentation, and delivery coordination.
• Monitor market trends and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure consistent product quality and on-time delivery.
• Ensure all export documentation complies with international trade and phytosanitary regulations.
• Attend local and international trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
• Travel overseas to visit and negotiate with clients in target markets.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s strategic growth in new and existing markets.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market feedback to management.
• Stay updated on seasonal production volumes, pack-out figures, and market demand cycles and market prices

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in the fresh produce export industry, preferably with pome fruit and citrus.
• Existing relationships with key export markets such as the Middle East, Far East and Asia are highly advantageous.
• A BCom degree in International Trade will be an advantage.
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
