Job description

This role is ideal for a geologist with solid exploration experience looking to transition into a consulting-focused role

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior consultants in delivering geological and exploration consulting projects
• Conduct detailed exploration data analysis, including mapping, geochemistry and geophysics datasets
• Compile and prepare high-quality technical data, figures, maps and tables for reports and presentations
• Produce accurate and professional GIS maps and spatial data products
• Assist with geological interpretation, model inputs and data validation
• Contribute to research, desktop studies and due diligence reviews
• Prepare and maintain well-organised geological databases and project files
• Ensure that all work meets professional, safety and quality expectation

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Geology or similar (MSc is strongly preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years’ exploration specific experience within a multi-commodity environment (Gold, base metals and critical metals)
• Proven experience working with the following database sets: Geological Mapping, Geochemistry (soil, rock, drilling geochem), Geophysics
• Strong GIS and spatial data handling skills (ArcGIS, QGIS or equivalent)
• Ability to interpret, organise and present exploration data effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in technical reporting
• Ability to work effectively in a professional consulting environment
