We're expanding our creative team and seeking a highly skilledHeadwear Designerto form part of our headwear design department.
As a Headwear Designer, you will play a role in the creative process from concept to production across all headwear categories. This role requires exceptional versatility, blending creativity, technical expertise, and market awareness. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams (merchandising, production, and sales) to deliver collections that meet both brand vision and customer demand.
Design & Development: Create innovative, trend‑right headwear designs across multiple categories (caps, beanies, bucket hats, fashion headwear, etc.). Develop seasonal collections with detailed technical packs and CADs. Ensure designs balance creativity with commercial viability. Trend Research & Conceptualization. Technical & Product Knowledge. Oversee fabric, trim, print, and branding development. Work with suppliers on material sourcing, construction techniques, and fit. Approve samples and ensure product quality aligns with brand standards. Collaboration & Leadership: Liaise with sales and marketing to ensure designs resonate with target customers. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting strict deadlines. Maintain organized design archives, spec sheets, and sample libraries.
Degree / Diploma in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. 1-3 years of proven experience in design (headwear / accessories). Vast, multi-disciplinary skill set, including: Advanced Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) + Microsoft Excel. Strong technical knowledge of fabrics, trims, branding, and manufacturing. Strong understanding of global streetwear, fashion, and sportswear markets. Ability to balance creativity with commercial practicality.
