Duties
  • Full accounting function up to Trial Balance;
  • Debtors and Creditors reconciliation;
  • Upload of payments to Bank;
  • Cash book management and review;
  • Payroll calculations and processing;
  • Reconciliation of general ledger accounts on a monthly basis;
  • Statutory returns (EMP501/EMP201/VAT201) (preparation and submission);
  • Rental calculations and monthly tenant billing;
  • Interaction with managers at branch level.
Competencies
  • Computer Literate MS Office (Excel (intermediate))
  • Accounting Packages (Pastel Accounting and Payroll)
  • SARS e-filing experience
  • Should be able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Responsible (organise/analyse/prioritise)
  • Prides themselves on a strong work ethic

Minimum requirements
  • Relevant tertiary education in accounting (a suitable degree/diploma)
