Job description

A dynamic business consulting firm is seeking a Junior B-BBEE Analyst to contribute to compliance projects, client relations, and sector code analysis. This is a permanent role based in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 with relevant commercial degree and 2+ years B-BBEE experience or knowledge
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the Amended Codes and Sector Codes
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) & proficiency with MS Office programs
  • Sector Code knowledge required: DTI, Construction, Agriculture – required; MAC, ICT, Tourism, Property – preferred
  • B-BBEE software experience is preferable
  • Must be self-disciplined and able to manage deadlines effectively
  • Must possess a strong understanding of B-BBEE codes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Conducting assessments and providing expert guidance on B-BBEE compliance to clients.
  • Analyzing relevant documentation, interpreting legislation, and assisting clients in achieving their B-BBEE objectives.
  • Evaluating information from multiple sources, reconciling data to produce a B-BBEE score and/or verification file.
  • Networking with clients to build relationships.
  • Monitoring market trends to develop or improve products and services.
  • Providing statistics and project progress updates.
  • Assessing data, verifying evidence, conducting on-site reviews, risk identification, handling client complaints, calculating scores, preparing reports, managing projects, and delivering workshop presentations.
