Qualifications

• Certificate, national diploma, or associate’s degree in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Basic to intermediate skills in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Understanding of engineering principles and drafting standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings and models of automotive parts.
• Translate engineering concepts into manufacturable drawings.
• Update drawings and documentation based on feedback.
• Manage project files systematically to ensure accuracy.
• Provide design-related support to manufacturing and quality control.
• Ensure drawings meet industry standards and safety regulations.
• Contribute to prototype and test model production.
• Stay updated with new CAD tools and manufacturing processes.
