An auditing firm is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Auditor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing audit assignments across a range of clients and industries. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality audit services in compliance with relevant standards.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, perform, and manage audit assignments in line with audit methodology and standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and evaluate internal controls for effectiveness.
  • Examine financial statements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency.
  • Identify misstatements, errors, or risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare audit working papers, reports, and documentation.
  • Liaise with clients to obtain relevant financial information and resolve queries.
  • Support the preparation of management letters and audit opinions.
  • Supervise and guide junior staff during audit engagements.
  • Stay up to date with IFRS, ISA, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Complete allocated audit tasks for LPC Trust Accounts, PPRA, and Public Schools, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.
  • Assist with special projects such as due diligence reviews and advisory services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or related field.
  • Solid understanding of auditing principles, IFRS, and ISA.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
