Job summary

A leading financial services firm in Centurion is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their fast-growing team. The role requires strong administrative skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Responsibilities include financial management, monitoring expenses, ensuring billing accuracy, and overseeing accounts payable. Ideal candidates will have at least 7-10 years of accounting experience and must possess SAIPA articles and a BCOM degree. This position offers a competitive salary package.

Job Description
  • Finance business partner and financial management
  • Participate in management meetings and brand meetings.
  • Drive and manage the annual OPEX and CAPEX budget process.
  • Monitor expenses against budgets.
  • Customer and third-party billing accuracy.
  • Overseeing procurement and accounts payable.
  • Ensuring that discounts are accurate and that processes are adhered to.
  • Overseeing debt management and collections.
  • Timely financial reporting.
  • Accurate and complete income and expenses.
  • Accurate and timely submission of CAPEX applications.
  • Monitoring event budgets.
  • Preparing monthly reconciliations.
  • Review and submit accurate billing information to Group Shared Services.
  • Procurement and accounts payable.
  • Bursaries and discounts.
  • Debt management and collections.
  • Financial reporting and month-end closing.
  • CAPEX requisitions.
