About the job IT Infrastructure Technical Coordinator

12 Month Contract (On-site)

The IT Infrastructure Technical Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, configuration, installation, and management of all network-related services within the organization. This includes LAN, WAN, Wireless, Satellite, Telephony, and related client services. The role involves implementing and maintaining network architectures, identifying and resolving hardware and software technical problems, and making critical decisions regarding throughput analysis, problem-solving, and infrastructure planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a robust network design and architecture aligned with the organization's business objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive documentation for the network design, including diagrams, configurations, and rationale for design decisions.
  • Define, deliver, and support strategic plans for the implementation of information technologies to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Oversee the implementation of network solutions, including hardware, software, and configurations.
  • Ensure regular maintenance and updates to keep the network infrastructure secure and up-to-date.
  • Implement and manage security measures to protect the organization's network from cyber threats.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to quickly identify and resolve network outages or performance degradation.
  • Provide IT technical and IT services management to support other group entities.
  • Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures based on organization outcomes, problem identification, trend evaluation, and anticipated requirements.
  • Manage security across all aspects of the business user base.

Qualifications and Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture and landscapes.
