Key Responsibilities
  • Perform first off, in process and final inspections to the relevant drawings, procedures, work instructions.
  • Ensure that non-conforming product is controlled in accordance with the relevant procedure.
  • Ensure that all components manufactured in Machine Shop and Foundry are identified according to the relevant procedure and work instructions.
  • Perform process audits to ensure operators are adhering to product identification & status indication, measurement & recording instructions.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications
  • Matric (Grade 12) or N3.
  • Qualified Artisan.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Quality Inspection.
  • Ability to use standard measuring equipment i.e. micrometers, verniers, hardness tester.
