Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in South Africa is seeking a Reporting Accountant based in East London. Applicants must have completed their SAICA Articles and possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, particularly with IFRS reporting, and demonstrate proficiency in CaseWare and advanced Excel. Qualifications

• Completed SAICA Articles.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting including Articles.
• IFRS statutory reporting experience.
• Tax experience is advantageous.
• Experience with consolidations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing underlying working papers for external audit purposes.
• Interact with external auditors during audits.
• Management of financial statement audits and engagements.
• Examine, analyse, and interpret accounting records.
• Prepare financial statements and management accounts.
• Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies.
