Job summary

A professional business consulting group is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join on a 12-month fixed term contract. This hybrid role entails managing the full bookkeeping and payroll function across multiple entities. Candidates must have 3–7 years of experience, advanced proficiency in Xero, and strong skills in VAT processing and reconciliation. This is a half-day position (8am - 2pm) and offers a dynamic working environment in Four Ways, Gauteng.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–7 years' experience as a senior bookkeeper.
  • Advanced proficiency in Xero is essential.
  • Strong experience with VAT, PAYE, EMP201/501, UIF, and SARS submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records across all companies.
  • Process and manage monthly payroll across all entities.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and cash flow reports.
