Our client, a global leader in the B2 B marketing space, is seeking an experienced Hub Spot Architect to join their Johannesburg office.

This is a strategic technical role responsible for owning and optimising the full Hub Spot ecosystem across Marketing, Sales, and Service.

Reporting directly to the Head of Revenue Operations, you will play a pivotal part in strengthening automation, enhancing CRM performance, and ensuring data integrity across the organisation's revenue operations framework.

About the Role

The Hub Spot Architect will act as the technical authority for all Hub Spot capabilities, driving system performance, automation maturity, and cross-functional alignment.

You will shape how internal teams engage with the platform, streamline operational processes, and embed best-in-class marketing and sales technologies into the company's global go-to-market engine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and continuously optimise Hub Spot CRM, Marketing Hub, and Sales Hub.
  • Configure pipelines, properties, permissions, and custom objects to align with evolving business processes.
  • Design, build, and refine advanced automation workflows supporting lead routing, nurturing, onboarding, and retention.
  • Deploy automation to improve conversion, elevate user experience, and reduce manual operational tasks.
  • Build and maintain custom quote and email templates using HTML and Hub L.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop personalised, scalable content that enhances the customer journey.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with Hub Spot CRM, Marketing Hub, and Sales Hub.
  • Strong technical expertise in workflow automation, CRM configuration, and data governance.
  • Proficient in HTML and Hub L for custom development.
  • Experience managing system integrations and resolving technical issues.
  • Solid analytical skills with a focus on reporting and performance optimisation.
  • Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration capabilities.
  • Exposure to ABM platforms, intent data, and Rev Ops methodologies advantageous.
  • Hub Spot certifications (Marketing Software, Sales Software, CMS for Developers) preferred.
