About this Position: Provide Human Resources services targeted towards attracting, recruiting and retaining top talents to support Henkel’s business strategies in South Africa.

What you will do
  • Provide Human Resources services targeted towards attracting, recruiting and retaining top talents to support Henkel’s business strategies in South Africa.
  • Responsible for provision of an exceptional and engaging work experience in a safe and conducive environment that will challenge employees to perform at their optimum.

Key Tasks:

  • Develops and executes local HR strategies in alignment with regional and corporate objectives
  • Acts as the primary liaison for all HR matters at the local level, providing strategic guidance and practical solutions to stakeholders
  • Coordinates and oversees HR processes to ensure alignment with regional and global standards
  • Reviews local market conditions and provides insights to support decision-making for HR initiatives
  • Drives employee engagement and fosters a positive employee experience within the country
  • Ensures compliance with local labor laws and regulations while maintaining alignment with company policies
  • Utilizes HR analytics to identify key trends and drivers, guiding business leaders in informed decision-making
  • Cultivates positive relationships with external stakeholders and represents the company in industrial relations and with trade unions
  • Offers direct support and guidance to managers, enabling the achievement of business objectives and fostering their professional growth
  • Collaborates with regional and global HR teams to drive cultural transformation initiatives and align business goals with HR strategies
  • Leads and nurtures the country HR team to effectively implement HR practices and processes
  • Champions team development and succession planning initiatives within the local HR team
