Responsibilities / Duties / Job Skills:
Recruitment & Selection of salary employees
Ensure staffing of LDC and permanent salary vacant positions by means of recruitment, selection and placement of personnel in collaboration with all relevant departments.
Generate and coordinate offers of employment, contracts and onboarding documents to new staff members
Recruitment & Selection of wage employees
Ensure staffing of temporary and permanent wage vacant positions by means of recruitment, selection, testing and placement of personnel in collaboration with the Production Department
Generate & coordinate offers of employment & on boarding documents to new staff members
Maintains a database of wage role applicants for use in recruitment drives
Conduct campus recruitment visit to recruit and promote the organisation to engineering students.
Coordinate and manage the orientation of new employees
Employee Relations
Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a positive work environment
Maintain sound labour relations, advising management on applying disciplinary and grievance procedures
Taking of appropriate disciplinary action against employees
Implementing and maintaining HR procedures and policies
Performance Management
Assist with the yearly performance appraisal processes/reviews, providing guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement and goal setting
Statutory Reporting & Compliance
Ensure that the statutory requirements are implemented and compliance with the following regulations;
Payroll
Payroll function to ensure that all employees are paid accurately and timeously
Review the weekly and monthly payrolls with the Payroll Administrator and Time & Attendance Administrator to ensure all input has been included and accurately captured
General
Adhoc HR projects if and when required
Maintain and update TalentSoft
