Job summary

A leading food service management company in Welkom is seeking a Food Service Manager to assist with daily kitchen operations, manage food/labor costs, and ensure adherence to HACCP standards. The ideal candidate has a relevant tertiary qualification and at least 3 years of kitchen management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Strong customer service, management, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive kitchen management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE is advantageous.
  • Must have healthcare experience.
  • Knowledge of special diets.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing daily operations of the assigned unit.
  • Assist with implementation of the production process.
  • Overall understanding of HACCP.
  • Develop and plan menus.
  • Kitchen brigade management.
