A community support organization is seeking a Health, Safety & Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with health and safety standards across their services. This role involves maintaining safe environments, providing expert advice, and promoting a proactive safety culture. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a commitment to compliance. This is a permanent position based in Huddersfield with negotiable hours and an attractive benefits package.
works across the Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield districts of West Yorkshire, providing help for our communities to find and maintain housing through legal advice, employment support, learning accommodation and local food bank provision
Hours: 29.6 – 37 hours per week (hours negotiable)
Salary: Band 6A - £36,763 - £39,085 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Location: Huddersfield (Pearl House, 10 John William Street, Huddersfield, HD1 1BA) with travel to Dewsbury, Wakefield and Halifax.

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Health, Safety and Compliance practitioner who can work independently, manage a varied workload and apply their expertise to support staff and strengthen safe, compliant working practices across our diverse services, properties and community settings.
