SUMMARY : Head Chef - Fourways

POSITION INFO :

Established upmarket restaurant in Fourways is currently looking for a Head Chef. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in both chef and kitchen management roles, with a strong background in a la carte restaurant environment. The ability to effectively coordinate and manage a busy kitchen operation is essential. The restaurant offers a salary of R 18 - 25 K net depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Stock management, variances, and stock reporting.
• Coordinate and manage a busy kitchen operation in conjunction with the executive chef.
• Lead and manage a kitchen brigade with the executive chef.
• Maintain food cost controls, kitchen hygiene, and administrative duties.
