Job summary

A prestigious hotel group in Franschhoek is seeking a Guest Relations Officer to provide exceptional service and ensure a memorable experience for all Guests. The ideal candidate has experience in a 5-star hotel and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include handling inquiries, managing reservations, and working closely with departments to meet Guest needs. South African citizenship is advantageous, and a valid work permit is required for non-citizens.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a 5* Hotel environment.
  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a Front Desk role.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong admin skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deal with Guest queries and arrange assistance as necessary.
  • Provide Guests with information about attractions and activities.
  • Monitor booking system and manage Guest profiles.

Education

Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management
