Overview

The role involves providing leadership and technical expertise to support maintenance management across sites, ensuring compliance, budgeting, and the development of maintenance capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise to branch/terminal Maintenance Managers to ensure maintenance strategies are properly implemented.
• Ensure statutory compliance programs are in place at all sites and monitor adherence to plan.
• Provide technical expertise to Maintenance Managers / mechanical engineers.
• Review and approve branch/terminal Maintenance Capex and expense budgets and monitor compliance to budget.
• Assist with training and development plans for maintenance managers and other mechanical engineers at FFS.
• Engineering support for FFS.
• Ability to develop strategy and drive initiatives to achieve the Strategic goals.
• OHSACT: an excellent working knowledge of SA OHSACT.
• Provide effective line management for 1 direct report.

Requirements

• 10+ years post-graduation experience with demonstrated experience in maintenance management essential.
• Experience in SA oil and gas industry (preferable).
• Bachelor of Science OR Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
