SUMMARY

Can you architect a global marketing strategy that unifies a portfolio of innovative, specialist B2B brands? Our client, a global leader in FinTech-driven asset solutions, seeking its next chapter of growth. Operating across the UK, Africa, and other key markets, the group now needs a marketing leader to bring cohesion, clarity, and a powerful, unified voice to its diverse sub-companies and brands. As the first CMO, reporting directly to the CEOs, your mission is to build a world-class, data-driven marketing engine. You will be responsible for driving growth, ensuring brand consistency, and capturing market share on a global scale. This is a hands-on leadership role for a builder who excels at execution.


POSITION INFO

Responsibilities


  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the implementation of a comprehensive, group-wide marketing strategy that supports business objectives and market expansion

  • Brand Governance & Architecture: Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints while supporting the unique identities of individual brands. Oversee all brand guidelines, positioning frameworks, and messaging

  • Digital Marketing Excellence: Oversee and integrate all digital channels including SEO/SEM, paid media, social media, email marketing, and lead generation. Leverage data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve ROI

  • MarTech & Data Integrity: Oversee the marketing tech stack, CRM systems, and automation platforms to streamline campaigns and analytics. Ensure data integrity, compliance, and actionable reporting

  • Commercial Execution: Translate high-level strategy into tangible results, with a sharp focus on customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth


Skills & Experience (Not negotiable)


  • Holds 8-10 years of marketing experience in a highly commercial, B2B environment

  • Has at least 8 years in a senior management role, with a minimum of 10 years' professional experience gained within a leading Distribution, Services, Technical/IT, or Asset Leasing business

  • Possesses a strong international marketing perspective with proven experience operating across multiple geographic markets (UK & Africa experience is essential)

  • Has a background in or a strong understanding of the FinTech sector and Asset Leasing/Management

  • Is an execution-focused leader with a proven ability to build, implement, and oversee complex marketing strategies

  • Has deep insight into the evolving challenges and growth opportunities within the Technology and IT Services sector
