Primary Purpose of the Job

BDO is searching for a talented and motivated Graphic Designer, who will be responsible for brand management and creating visually appealing and engaging designs that align with the brand identity. The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing and communication teams to develop a wide range of design materials across web, digital design and print to support the business objectives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design Creation: Develop high-quality design concepts, graphics, and layouts for various marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, infographics, reports, digital banners, social media assets, and website elements.
  • Branding and Visual Identity/Brand Management: Ensure consistency in brand identity across all design materials. Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain and evolve our brand guidelines and visual style.
  • Stakeholder Project Support: Translate briefs into effective design solutions that meet stakeholder goals and align with our brand standards.
  • Creative Input: Contribute innovative ideas and concepts to enhance our design capabilities. Stay updated on design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve the quality of our design output.
  • Design Production: Execute designs from concept to final deliverable, ensuring accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to project timelines. Prepare files for both digital and print distribution.
  • Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and agencies, to understand design needs and provide design expertise.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions into final designs.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of design materials to ensure they meet our quality standards and are error‑free. Maintain consistency and accuracy in design elements, typography, and colour schemes.
  • Tools and Software: Utilise design software (such as Adobe Creative Suite) and other relevant tools to create and edit designs. Stay proficient in the latest design software and technology advancements.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of professional design experience, preferably in the financial services industry or related field. A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects is required.

  • Time Management: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand project requirements, and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. Ability to adapt to changing project scopes and requirements.
