Job Description

Surplus People Project (SPP) is seeking a Graphic Designer to support our communications and advocacy work focused on land justice, agroecology and food sovereignty in South Africa. The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Communications Coordinator to produce high-quality visual material for SPP’s campaigns, publications and public-facing platforms. This role is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to grassroots struggles for land, food and dignity, while strengthening the public voice of a long-standing social justice organisation.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Laying out annual reports, research briefs and organisational publications
  • Designing social media graphics, posters, flyers and campaign material
  • Supporting events, workshops and advocacy work with strong visual content
  • Maintaining visual consistency across SPP’s platforms and outputs
Qualifications and Requirements
