The successful candidate:

  • Must be suitably qualified.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the classroom teaching Afrikaans as a First Additional Language.
  • Must have a SACE certificate.

The successful candidate would preferably:

  • Preferably be an Afrikaans Home Language speaker.
  • Have a very good work ethic and be a team player.
  • Be patient, kind and empathetic.
  • Be willing to attend professional development in the LSEN space.
  • Be willing to participate fully in extra murals and sport.
  • Be able to identify with the values, ethos, and mission of our school.
  • Be willing to participate in general curriculum support.
