General Manager-Water Treatment Products and Services

Location: Port Elizabeth / Gqeberha

The role is responsible for overseeing chemical water treatment service contracts, mechanical water treatment projects, and water optimisation consulting services.

The successful candidate will take full accountability for operational performance, financial management, client relationships, business development, and people leadership, while driving sustainable growth across multiple industrial sectors.

Division Overview

The Water Treatment Division operates as a regional business unit servicing local industry and is structured around three core service pillars:

Mechanical Water Treatment Projects
  • Small to medium installations, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance of RO plants, softeners, filtration systems, and related equipment.
Chemical Water Treatment Service Contracts
  • Contractual treatment services for utilities such as boilers, cooling towers, and associated systems at customer sites.
Water Optimisation Consulting
  • Water usage optimisation and efficiency support, particularly within food and beverage and hygiene-focused operations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Relevant technical qualification (preferably Mechanical or Chemical Engineering).
  • A management or Business Management qualification will be advantageous.
  • 7–10 years of experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management position.
  • Proven experience within the utilities water treatment industry and water usage optimisation programmes.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated leadership and client management capability.
