Job summary

A premier entertainment venue in Durban is looking for a Gaming Floor Officer to ensure safety and adherence to regulations. You will be responsible for patrolling the gaming floor, addressing security issues, and providing excellent customer service. Candidates should have a Matric qualification and at least 2 years of experience in gaming or security. Qualifications

  • Must be willing to be subjected to periodic integrity testing.
  • Minimum of 2 years Gaming or Security experience.
  • Ability to keep a cool head in a fast-paced and pressurized environment.

Our successful Gaming Floor Officers …
  • ensure a safe environment for all guests, staff, their belongings and company assets by thoroughly patrolling the gaming floor and quickly identifying and resolving security problems
  • ensure there is strict adherence to company policies and procedures, Gambling Board regulations and laws in the casino and surrounding complex
  • liaise with internal and external customers including private and state law enforcement agencies
  • thoroughly check all emergency equipment every shift to ensure the gaming floor is totally prepared for disasters including evacuations, injuries and armed robberies
  • patiently and professionally resolve conflict on the gaming floor
  • impress guests with professional and friendly service
  • work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards consistently and accurately.

If you have these qualifications, join our team: Matric (NQF 4), Verbal and written English skills (NQF 4), Numeracy skills (NQF 4), must be willing to be subjected to periodic integrity testing, PSIRA registered - minimum Grade C, be able to work well within a team, good decision making skills, keep a cool head in a fast paced and pressurized environment, have a minimum of 2 years Gaming or Security experience.
